Overview:

A nurse scheduled as night in-charge was stranded due to a vehicle breakdown on a rural road. With 21 high-needs residents relying on her presence, the situation required immediate intervention to avoid service disruption.

HTR Response:

• Provided emotional reassurance and logistical coordination
• Escalated the case to AA, resulting in prioritised assistance
• Arranged an alternate staff member for backup
• Worked with the home’s manager to offer support and counselling
